The Mapon integration with e-TOLL can help drivers and fleet managers to better manage payments for toll roads in Poland by automatically forwarding information of a vehicle's position to e-TOLL system for instant toll road payment collection.
e-TOLL is an advanced payment collection solution for vehicles driven on toll sections of roads in Poland. It's based on the Global Navigation Satellite System for user position location with the use of virtual gates and monitored by the Polish authorities.
While optional for lighter vehicles, for those with maximum authorised weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes or possibility to carry more than 9 passengers at a time, it is mandatory as of October 1st, 2021 to use e-TOLL for notifying the Polish authorities on a vehicle's whereabouts as well as organise payments for toll road usage.
Having integrated with e-TOLL, Mapon can forward the necessary location data to the Polish authorities automatically, providing your daily business processes with additional benefits compared to the information transmission alternatives.

Mapon clients wanting to use this integration have to register their tracking device in the e-TOLL system straight from the Mapon platform, which will generate a business ID and PIN. What's more, you can enable and disable data forwarding at any time or, if necessary, unregister your device from the e-TOLL system altogether.
