Mapon, one of Northern Europe’s leading fleet management solution providers, has partnered with German commercial vehicle manufacturer KRONE to develop an integration solution for more efficient data processing and analysis in the logistics industry.

The integration enables users to easily access data from KRONE trailers and chassis, such as location, cold storage temperatures, door security, tire pressure, and other critical information. Since logistics companies often operate vehicles from multiple manufacturers, Mapon’s system allows customers to view and analyze all real-time data on a single dashboard. Carriers will not need to install additional equipment – the Mapon and KRONE integration ensures a secure exchange of information between the data centers of both companies.

KRONE employs nearly 6,000 people and has an annual turnover approaching 3 billion EUR. The company’s roots trace back to 1906, when blacksmith Bernhard Krone and his wife Anna inherited a small farm and guest house in Spelle, Emsland. Bernhard opened a blacksmith shop in Spelle, soon attracting customers from neighboring communities. Subsequent generations expanded the family business, starting to offer unique designs. Growing demand eventually outpaced the capacity of the original factory, leading to the establishment of a new branch in Werlte in 1963, where KRONE began producing agricultural, platform, and tilting trailers.
